Education

The Northwest Indian College, the Evergreen State College, Grays Harbor College, Antioch University-Seattle, and Muckleshoot Tribal College have collaborated on a report detailing how Native Americans are experiencing higher education in the State of Washington.

Scholarship Information

Washington Indian Gaming Association
The Washington Indian Gaming Association is now accepting applications for its 2012-2013 scholarship, with up to $60,000 being awarded for Native American students in Washington seeking to advance their personal and professional potential through higher education. The deadline is March 31, 2012.

American Indian Endowed Scholarship Program
The Higher Education Coordinating Board (HECB) is now accepting applications for the 2012-13 American Indian Endowed Scholarship (AIES) awards.  Applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2012.  Please visit website for application and eligibility requirements – http://www.hecb.wa.gov/PayingForCollege/StateAid/AmerricanIndian
