State Legislation In the future, the Governor's Office of Indian Affairs will provide information on bills that are of particular interest to Tribes. However, the Fifty-Sixth Session of the Washington State Legislature adjourned this year and took minimal action on a few pieces of legislation that may significantly impact Tribes. A second special session of the Legislature will be convened on Monday, April 24, 2000 to secure passage of a state budget, and other legislation may be considered at that time.
